Tree Sparrows and more at Sandbach Flash

In the morning I was wondering were I could go to take some photos and somewhere I haven't been to that often, I thought Sandbach Flash. When we arrived this beautiful Tree Sparrow caught the edge of my eye and I was like WOW because I'd never seen one be for. I got some great photos but this one has got to be the best. I got about 5 metres away which was really was surprising.

In this shot I thought that this is something my family could do. All the seed has been spread out and stuck on the fence with fats so all the birds can peck at it and have a tasty snack. On all of the posts where they meet up there it was, all the seed.

With this photo I was looking around thinking I was going to see nothing but I actually saw a beautiful Robin perched on a tree branch and said ''I'm going to get a photo''and guess what, I did. I took the photo and thought it was rubbish because I tripped on a piece of wood and hurt my foot, but it turned out to be amazing, even if I say so myself.

This next bird called the coot is common and a bit dull, but is still nice to get a picture. What I think makes this picture good is the bird it self and of course the wonderful field the coots are standing on. Normally I just see them in the water.

Once we'd looked at the main pool we went over to a flooded field right behind it. My dad spotted a really nice bird, the Redshank. I really think this picture is good because 1. the colours and 2. the bird. The colours green, brown and blue make this bird really nicely hidden on the grass, apart from those shiny red legs.A big thanks to dad for spotting the bird so I can put it on my blog.

Over on to the last part of the flash we have some Mallards, Teal, Wigeon and some others. People might not find Mallards interesting but every bird has their special part and that's why I put them on my blog.

I hope you enjoyed my very detailed blog.

A Redwing

I was taking pictures of Goldfinches when suddenly this lovely Redwing came swooping down for a bath and scared the other birds away.  I was really please with this picture. It was taken at Marton Mere.

A Murmurarion at Marton Mere

The Murmuration at Marton Mere took us all by surprise. It started off as a "m" with just a few starlings flying about as the sun went down.

Then it got to a "murm" and we started to get a bit excited about what was happening.

Then a full, gargantuan murmuration was happening right over our heads.

They made some amazing shapes and you could hear the sound of their wings beating.

I never will forget it.

Common Lizards at RSPB Burton Mere

On Sunday I went to RSPB Burton Mere on the Wirral. It was a really warm day, which was really good for spotting these Common Lizards.

We saw four of the sitting on the bottom rail of the fence sunbathing.

I really wanted a picture of one of the Lizards underneath the Lizard sign, but they didn't scrabble across the fence as far as the sign.

I really like the last picture because the head is in focus and the rest of the body sort of fades away. I hope you enjoy the pictures and would like to know what you think of them.

A Trip To Burton Mere

When I arrived at RSPB Burton Mere I spotted lots of cows in a field, and they seemed quite happy to have their photo taken. I'm not sure if this cow knows it has grass hanging down from it's mouth. All of these photos are taken from this walk, I hope you enjoy them.

Bluebells

Our feeding station is a blue bell wood and the wood is full of these little fellas. Near the entrance there are fully grown blue bell's.

In this photo I tilted my camera and zoomed in a bit more than the other photo and I think it looks a bit better because you can really make out the bell's on the blue bell. Before I took this photo I had to move some grass because it was in the way of the blue bell. In the background there are some more blue bell's but there was not much near the entrance where I took this photo.

As I said earlier I had to move some grass it was because it was to long and if it was short I wouldn't move it. Next time I come to the feeding station I am going to watch and see what creatures like the plant. Also we put up nest boxes and got some very very interesting things.

My New Camera

I have not been blogging for a very long time because my camera was broken and I had to get a new one. So now I should be doing a lot more blogs as I got my new camera today.

I have taken a photo of my boots because that is how I started today's walk. The rest of the pictures are all taken from the walk and I hope you enjoy them.

When I got my new camera, I started to fiddle with the buttons and learnt more from fiddling. This photo is like the bee is climbing up a leaf tongue.

This yellow crop reminds me of a sweet lemon. I think the yellow mixes in with the green and blue really well.

On my walk I went past a bright purple flower and decided to take a close up photo of it. I think the brick wall is a really nice background.

This back hole reminds me of a hole in a sock, but the light goes really nice behind the leaf.

I'm not quite sure what this egg is, but it looks a duck egg. I hope you all have an eggcellent Easter.

In the field a beautiful Peacock butterfly decide to land right in the sun and I did my best to get as close as I could to this butterfly.

This is me putting my shoes back on at the end of the walk to drive back home.

Quick Fingers

The next song I am going to do is called Ricks Blues and I did this song for my Grade 2 and I had to do a lot of practise to prepare for my Grade 2. I do not now if I have passed yet but I hope I will.

The first time is normal paced and then very quick.

I hope you enjoy it.
